90 per cent of all construction machinery sold in Germany is financed. The availability of financing is a key factor for companies when purchasing new machinery. Customers find themselves in a wide variety of situations, and there are many different financing options available.
At Schlüter für Baumaschinen, the customer’s needs are our top priority. Our aim is to work with the customer to develop a suitable solution. At Schlüter für Baumaschinen, customers receive both standardised and tailor-made financing and leasing solutions from a single source. In addition to Schlüter für Baumaschinen itself, various financial partners are available to handle all types of contracts. These include, amongst others:
Loan / Hire Purchase
In this case, the machine is capitalised on the customer’s balance sheet. The purchase price is provided by the lender/hire purchase provider and repaid to them in monthly instalments. The buyer capitalises the machine on their balance sheet from the outset. Upon payment of the final instalment, ownership is transferred in full to the borrower/hire purchase customer.
Leasing
With leasing under the leasing scheme, the monthly cost may be lower than with a traditional loan or hire purchase. Depending on the type of contract, the customer may have a right of redemption at the end, or the equipment is returned to the supplier at the end of the term.
Insurance
This insurance provides compulsory cover for the duration of the finance agreement and beyond, with tailor-made cover options for new and used machinery. Customers benefit from time savings thanks to fast and hassle-free processing.
Rental with option to purchase
The customer selects an existing machine from the machine portfolio or configures it individually to suit their needs in consultation with our specialists. For this machine, they are granted an option to purchase or return it at the end of the agreed term. Rental payments made are credited in full towards the purchase price or acquisition value, whilst accrued delivery costs and maintenance & repair costs are invoiced separately.
Rental without purchase option
The customer selects a machine from the new machine portfolio, usually for a specific, potentially time-limited assignment. The machine is returned to the supplier in all cases and is not purchased by the customer. The machine may be exchanged during the term.
RENT
With RENT, the customer selects one of around 2,500 machines from the existing rental fleet, which is designed to cover peak periods and short, specific assignments. These machines are available for hire only and cannot be purchased.
