The way to protect your equipment! KOMTRAX™ offers you a variety of security options, such as the so-called geofence function and the engine lock, with which you can determine limited areas of use, days and times for each individual machine. If your equipment is started outside the selected parameters, it will automatically switch off and you will receive a warning message via e-mail. You also have the option of creating codes for starting the equipment and distributing them to your operators to avoid the night lockout from 10:00pm - 06:00am. KOMTRAX™ also offers protection against fuel theft: In case more than 25% of the tank volume is removed, you will receive on your computer or mobile phone an immediate alarm with the time and GPS location of your equipment.

Equipment tracking

KOMTRAX™ offers you an overview of which equipment is currently being moved and summarises the travel alarm messages of all machines in a fleet for you in a compact form. This allows unwanted equipment movements to be quickly detected. If equipment is transported or reaches its destination (it is possible to create a geo-window of up to 10 x 10 km), location information is sent to the KOMTRAX™ website or by e-mail. In addition to the daily inspection of GPS data, we can also store internal company equipment numbers for identification in KOMTRAX™. It is also possible to create an operator ID for your operators: Each equipment operator receives a PIN selected by you, enabling personalised monitoring of the equipment.

Fleet management

Easy fleet overview! The map function of KOMTRAX™ provides you with a complete overview of your entire fleet and enables you to fully plan your work assignments. Based on the equipment list, you can immediately read out the position of the equipment, even if it is located in other European countries. In addition to position recording, you also obtain an overview of changes of location, engine starts, as well as the start and end of equipment movements. The location of your site job can be easily determined via Google and allows for each route planning. You can also use all KOMTRAX™ data in combination with existing management tools and other applications or download and analyse them directly using spreadsheet programs. This is profit maximisation at the push of a button!

Proactive maintenance

KOMTRAX™ enables you to engage in proactive and intelligent maintenance planning for your Komatsu equipment. In addition to the daily operating hours, you also obtain an overview of all warning messages. These may involve a low fuel level or excessive AdBlue consumption. In addition, KOMTRAX™ monitors the maintenance intervals of your equipment and duly informs you when the next maintenance date is due. On request, we can send you all notifications of maintenance information or error codes via e-mail. Thanks to KOMTRAX™, you can identify maintenance requirements at an early stage, which means that parts can be duly provided and repair and downtimes can be reduced.

Service of equipment efficiency

KOMTRAX™ offers you the option of recording the ratio between engine running time and actual working hours of the equipment per day/month. This allows you to determine your average fuel consumption and create an efficiency report or have one created by our KOMTRAX™ administrator. Together with you, we analyse the consumption data of your equipment in terms of ECO mode, Power mode, E-light mode, driving distance and average speed, checking where they can work even more efficiently. This allows fuelling trips to be duly planned and the total costs of the work assignment calculated in advance. For models with engines complying with EU Stage IIIB / EPA Tier 4 interim, you can determine the need for energy-saving operator training using messages on the ECO display. Schlüter offers targeted operator training courses for efficient use of your equipment.
