Battery Technology

Work electrically, stay mobile and seamlessly continue operating from the grid whenever required – this is the key strength of SENNEBOGEN’s latest battery solutions.  Conventional battery-only machines currently available on the market are limited by their finite battery operating time. SENNEBOGEN’s new machines with battery technology combine the advantages of electric and battery-powered solutions.

Conventional battery-only machines currently available on the market are limited by their finite battery operating time. SENNEBOGEN’s new machines with battery technology combine the advantages of electric and battery-powered solutions.

With SENNEBOGEN battery-powered machines, you can continue working even while the machine is connected to the power grid for recharging.
The latest generation of battery-powered excavators, such as the 822 Electro Battery and 824 Electro Battery, can save an average of up to 60 tonnes of CO₂ per year and provide up to seven hours of operation without recharging. After that, the machine can continue operating in stationary grid-powered mode using a cable connection through the undercarriage. Grid power is used to operate the machine’s working functions, while any surplus power simultaneously recharges the batteries.

  • Modular battery configuration

Designed for a wide range of operating profiles and maximum practicality in day-to-day use.

  • Up to 7 hours of operating time

A high degree of independence on the job site combined with low-emission operation.

  • Flexible recharging

Continue working in stationary grid-powered mode while recharging the battery at the same time.
