Schlüter Baumaschinen Halle GmbH looks back on a successful first Schlüter Day in Gröbers

Gröbers. On Friday, 28 April 2023, the first Schlüter Day for the Gröbers, Magdeburg and Berlin regions took place at the headquarters of Schlüter Baumaschinen Halle GmbH in Gröbers. The family-owned company demonstrated its products, services and value-based approach to construction machinery to its customers on the company premises. A total of almost 200 customers, suppliers, neighbours and employees were welcomed to Gröbers.
Schlüter has now been active for construction machinery in the regions around Gröbers, Magdeburg and Berlin for just over a year. On 1 January 2022, the construction machinery dealer from Erwitte (North Rhine-Westphalia) took over the former GP Baumaschinen GmbH Halle - now Schlüter Baumaschinen Halle GmbH - and its subsidiary, G-tec Positioning GmbH. Since then, Schlüter has also been offering its well-known service in northern and eastern Germany as well as the Cologne, Koblenz and Trier regions. By expanding its branch network to 33 locations and over 1,000 employees, Schlüter für Baumaschinen now offers its customers even shorter distances. The Westphalian company now covers around three quarters of the German market and, as a premium supplier for the brands Komatsu, Sennebogen, Topcon and attachments from NPK, Genesis, Rotobec and Starmag in combination with services such as the digital construction site, rental or customer service, is always close to its customers.

Schlüter Day Gröbers: Presentation of the Schlüter brand with all its products and services

The Schlüter Day in Gröbers offered the ideal opportunity to present the Schlüter brand with all its products and services to customers from the new areas of Gröbers, Magdeburg and Berlin.

Many customers, suppliers, neighbours and employees and their families accepted the invitation. At the beginning of the event, Thomas and Maximilian Schlüter, together with Petra Schlüter and branch manager Martin Meurer (Gröbers), welcomed all visitors and thanked them for their attendance. After a few words of welcome from Steffen Kunning, mayor of the town of Kabelsketal, the two brothers gave a brief presentation of the Schlüter construction machinery company. Thomas and Maximilian Schlüter thanked all customers for the trust they had already placed in the company and emphasised how much the family business was looking forward to continuing to work together in the new regions.

After the official welcome, all customers and other guests had the opportunity to explore the Schlüter world for themselves. Almost the entire product range of Komatsu and other suppliers in the field of attachments was presented in an extensive machine exhibition, and the Schlüter services RENT (rental), customer service and digital construction site were also presented with their own information stands. In addition to the premium products, the family-owned company offers its customers application-specific solutions over the entire service life of the machine in terms of lifecycle management. Or to put it in terms of Schlüter system utilisation: ‘Our system - your benefit!’

A special highlight of the Schlüter Day in Gröbers was the live demo of the digital construction site on the Schlüter premises. Here, Schlüter's products for construction machinery and G-tec were demonstrated live in action:

  • Machine control: 2D, 3D, display and semi-automatic
  • Surveying and positioning
  • Drones: Measurement and mass determination and inspection
  • Software and data analytics

The visitors were fascinated to learn about the different areas of application of the digital construction site: From application consulting, surveying and data preparation to machine control. The experts enthusiastically presented the digital transformation from construction machinery to the digital construction site.

The focus was also on the driver competition, in which customers were able to demonstrate their skills in handling the construction machine. The three best drivers received an award in the form of a trophy. Of course, the physical well-being was taken care of and all guests were provided with hot and cold food and drinks.

The Schlüter Day in Gröbers was characterised by intensive technical discussions in a relaxed atmosphere. The entire team from the Schlüter branches in Gröbers, Magdeburg and Berlin can look back with satisfaction on a successful customer event, which was made possible thanks to close teamwork. The family-run company is already looking forward to all the other exciting tasks and events still to come this year!
