RELO Wertstoffaufbereitung GmbH has been operating in Meschede since 2003 and is part of the REMONDIS Group. The company specializes in sorting and processing waste and producing quality-assured substitute fuels. The plant processes household and bulky waste, commercial waste, sorting residues, and mixed plastics. Most of the processed materials are then used as substitute fuel in power plants and in the domestic cement industry. Around 25 employees work in three shifts, five days a week, to ensure continuous and reliable plant operation, thus contributing to resource-saving recycling.
Pure efficiency: WA380-8E0 HL with a 9m³ high-tip bucket
In order to continue to reliably meet the high demands of daily plant operation, RELO relies on the new WA380-8E0 HL wheel loader, as the previous machine had to be replaced at short notice due to fire damage. Within 48 hours, Schlüter Baumaschinen was able to provide a WA320 Highlift with a 5.5 m³ bucket as a temporary replacement, allowing operations to continue. The WA320 had already done an excellent job during the transition phase, reliably supporting operations while the WA380 was being delivered. The WA380-8E0 is optimally designed for the requirements of waste processing and impresses with low operating costs and a maintenance-friendly design that minimizes downtime. The machine is equipped with special recycling equipment. This includes, among other things, wrap protection for the axles, solid rubber tires, filtered air intake for the radiator and air conditioning system, and protective ventilation for the cab. In addition, a special pre-separator for the engine intake air has been installed to remove fine dust particles. Another noteworthy feature is the large-volume 9m³ bucket, which is developed and produced by Schlüter Baumaschinen GmbH.

The machine's configuration was developed in close consultation with the RELO technical team and Dietmar Stallmeister, Schlüter's long-standing representative for the Rethmann Group for construction machinery. The machine has already proven itself at other locations, was available quickly and could be delivered without delay. The regional service ensures that the team is supported at all times.
