Erwitte. On March 20 and 21, 2026, Schlüter Baumaschinen GmbH hosted a two-day equipment fair at its headquarters in Erwitte, which drew significant interest from customers and industry professionals. Over the course of the two-day event, the company established numerous customer contacts.
The event featured an extensive selection of approximately 200 machines, including both new and used models meeting Q-standards 1–4. Among the items on display were construction machines from Komatsu, Sennebogen, and Knikmops, as well as a wide range of attachments - also new and used from manufacturers such as NPK, Genesis, ALLU, Rotobec, and Starmag.
Machines such as the new WA170 and WA475/485 were particularly impressive.
In addition to the numerous experts on electric mini excavators, mobile excavators, and Sennebogen material handlers, Bert Geens presented the Knikmops portfolio, while the subsidiary dxbau solutions, together with partners Topcon, DJI, and others, showcased innovative solutions for the digital construction site. Attendees had the opportunity to explore topics such as hybrid surveying methods, the use of innovative drone technology, and various machine control solutions. Dustin Röbber from Komatsu, a proven expert in electric Komatsu mini excavators, was also on site to provide advice to interested visitors.
Hands-On Technology
A particular highlight was the live demonstration in the specially set-up test arena. Here, visitors were able to test Komatsu’s new generation of excavators—including the PC220LCi and the all-electric PC20 E—for themselves under the expert guidance of technical application consultants. In addition, the Knikmops KM180 E was available for test drives in the landscaping corner, which generated significant interest, particularly with regard to alternative drive technologies.
Supporting Program with an Eye Toward the Future
In addition to machine sales, the machine market offered an informative supporting program. Various information booths focused on the topics of e-mobility, sustainability, and digital construction site solutions. The test arena provided hands-on driving experiences, while daily guided tours of the facility offered insights into key company divisions—including the central spare parts warehouse, custom manufacturing (HCT), customer service, and technical training.
Working as a unified whole, all company divisions offer a range of services tailored specifically to the customer, thereby impressively demonstrating the Schlüter system in action!
The overall assessment of the machinery fair is thoroughly positive: In addition to the successful sale of numerous new and used machines, the in-depth discussions with customers also helped launch promising projects for the future. The machinery fair in Erwitte thus proved to be an important platform for exchange, innovation, and business development.
