BAUMA 2025: The most successful exhibition in Schlüter’s history for construction machinery

Munich. BAUMA 2025 has set new standards—for the industry, for visitors, and especially for the family-owned company Schlüter für Baumaschinen. In a time marked by global challenges, the world’s leading trade fair for construction machinery, with around 600,000 visitors from over 200 nations and 3,600 exhibitors from 57 countries, was not only more strongly represented internationally than ever before.
For the Erwitte-based company, it was the most successful BAUMA in its more than 60-year history: “The best BAUMA we’ve ever experienced,” is how the management summed it up. The team has now completed seven intense days at the trade show—days marked by tremendous dedication, genuine teamwork, and an impressive collective effort. The self-imposed target for machine sales was unexpectedly exceeded by a wide margin as early as Thursday evening. Both the use of the Schlüter System—a strategy that generates customized service offerings for customers—and the close collaboration with premium suppliers Komatsu and Sennebogen, as well as Topcon, NPK, Rotobec, and Knikmops, contributed significantly to this success.

Komatsu presented a wide range of product highlights at the booth and in the outdoor area, including 13 new products. A real crowd-pleaser was the PC7000, a 700-ton hydraulic excavator, which was showcased in a live demo in the outdoor area of the booth. Another highlight was the new Intelligent Machine Control hydraulic excavator PC220LCi-12, which was unveiled for the first time at BAUMA 2025. With its new generation of crawler excavators, Komatsu is setting new standards in machine control, safety, and operational efficiency. In the wheel loader segment as well, Komatsu introduced the most powerful machines in their class: the WA475-11, WA485-11, and WA170M.

In the heart of the exhibition grounds, Sennebogen showcased a wide range of product highlights under the motto “Green Heart of BAUMA.” In addition to the new Sennebogen 830 E Demolition Vario Tool, a demolition excavator equipped with a backhoe,
this year’s booth focused in particular on the expansion of the G Series. Two new battery-powered machines, a telescopic handler, a new port machine, and the new 850 G material-handling excavator attracted numerous
visitors to the booth.

Another highlight of the trade show was Schlüter’s own “Digital Construction Site” booth for construction machinery. During insightful technical discussions, customers on-site had the opportunity to learn about the innovations and products on display for the digital construction process. On Tuesday evening, the Digital Construction Site, in collaboration with its technology partner Topcon, hosted around 100 customers and presented forward-looking innovations. In this festive setting, Schlüter announced the founding of the new subsidiary “dxbau solutions,” thereby sending a clear signal in the field of digital transformation.

In addition to the economic success, one thing in particular took center stage at this trade show: the teamwork among the Schlüter team members from Sales, RENT, and Customer Service. The outstanding performance of the entire team—whether on-site in Munich or at the branch offices—was the foundation for this milestone.

Schlüter for Construction Machinery looks back with pride on this extraordinary trade show week—and is already eagerly anticipating BAUMA 2028.
