Another Choice for the WA600-8: CASEA and Schlüter for Construction Machinery Continue Their Success Story

Osterode. By investing in a new Komatsu WA600-8, CASEA GmbH is specifically enhancing its daily material handling capacity at its Dorste site. The wheel loader impresses with its high efficiency, enormous handling capacity, and state-of-the-art technology, and is optimally tailored to the demanding requirements of raw material extraction. Together with Schlüter Baumaschinen GmbH, CASEA is thus sending a clear signal of future-proofing, productivity, and the long-standing successful partnership between the two companies.
CASEA in Dorste – Expertise in Raw Material Extraction
CASEA GmbH is one of Germany’s leading manufacturers of high-quality lime and gypsum products. At the Dorste site, the focus is particularly on the extraction and processing of mineral raw materials used in a wide variety of industrial sectors—from the building materials industry to industrial applications. This long-established site features modern production and processing facilities and plays a key role within the corporate group.
With high quality standards, efficient production processes, and a clear focus on sustainable business practices, CASEA has stood for reliability and innovation in the building materials industry for many years. At the same time, the demands of daily operations are particularly high: large quantities of material must be moved and processed efficiently—often under challenging conditions. For this reason, CASEA in Dorste consistently relies on high-performance and reliable machinery to ensure long-term productivity, cost-effectiveness, and operational safety.

The Komatsu WA600-8 – Power, Efficiency, and Reliability
Thanks to the excellent cooperation between the CASEA GmbH sites, the entire process ran smoothly. The central procurement department at the Lünen site was responsible for procuring the WA600-8, coordinating closely with the Dorste site throughout. It was only through this close and trusting collaboration that all processes could be efficiently coordinated and the project successfully and smoothly implemented.
The machine was equipped for use in the quarry with a configuration tailored specifically to the quarry’s requirements. This includes a bucket specially adapted to the on-site conditions. Visually, the wheel loader also stands out thanks to its custom white paint finish. The high-capacity torque converter with automatic converter bypass ensures optimum power transmission whilst keeping operating costs low. Intelligent features such as the adjustable automatic idle shut-off
support fuel-efficient operation
The WA600-8 also impresses in terms of operator comfort and ease of maintenance: an optimised view of the working area, generous access points for maintenance and a coarse-mesh radiator with an automatic reversing fan make day-to-day operation easier. The overall package is rounded off by a modern, air-suspended driver’s seat, which offers a high level of comfort even during long working days.
“The WA600-8 fully meets our requirements. We were particularly impressed by the equipment, which has been customised specifically for quarry operations, and which ensures even more efficient working,” says Marcel Brunner from Central Procurement.

Trust Built on Years of Collaboration: Moving Forward Together Toward a High-Performance Future
The delivery of the new Komatsu WA600-8 underscores the long-standing and trusting partnership between CASEA GmbH and Schlüter Baumaschinen GmbH. The two companies have been working together successfully for many years. The fact that the previous Komatsu WA600-8 is now being replaced by a new WA600-8 demonstrates the high level of satisfaction with the machine as well as the trust in Komatsu’s quality and the collaboration with Schlüter.
“Close coordination with our customer and finding customized solutions for on-site requirements are crucial for us,” emphasizes Frank Konradi. “We are very pleased with the long-standing trust CASEA has placed in us and that we can continue this successful partnership with the new Komatsu WA600-8.”
The handover of the new Komatsu WA600-8 marks another milestone in the long-standing partnership between CASEA and Schlüter. This renewed investment in a WA600-8 reflects trust, continuity, and a shared commitment to peak performance in daily operations.
